At Dropbox, we make every effort to make the few email campaigns we have useful and targeted to your specific situation. We try to ensure you're contacted only occasionally. However, if you'd rather not receive any future contact from us, it's easy to opt out of our email newsletters and/or tips.

Change your newsletter and tips settings

  1. Click your name at the top of the page.
  2. The Email Preferences section of the settings page lets you to choose which emails you receive. Opt out of Dropbox email newsletters and tips by unchecking the boxes next to the corresponding options.
  3. Click the "Change settings" button to save your changes.

Change your security email notification preferences

  1. The Email notifications section lets you choose which emails you receive. Opt out of being notified when a computer is linked to your account or when a new third-party app is connected to your account by unchecking the boxes next to the corresponding options.

Once you opt out of email newsletters and/or tips, you'll no longer receive those emails from Dropbox.

What are some tips for a consultant trying to monetize her services through a newsletter campaign? - Quora

Something that I've seen a lot of consultant do is to offer a free white paper or some other freebie demonstrating how you can help your target customer.  And offer them a special discount for downloading that freebie. A sort of "that's not all" that an infomercial seller would give.  This gives you more opportunities to demonstrate your quality and value.
